There will be three full artisan markets, a fashion show, roller derby, dance zones, as well as hundreds of non-profits, local artisans and businesses. Over 30 designers gathered for the 6th annual Nifty for Fifty Sale, including Meiku Designs, for a big fashion garage sale! There was everything from accessories, clothing and trinkets, all for $50 or less!

Portobello West and Viva Vancouver had teamed up and created the Granville Street Market from August 18 to 19. It was a great fun filled family event with lots of live entertainment, amazing food and great shopping including Portobello West fabulous artisans and designers!

Local-E first summer bazaar was a one day only affair with over 20 of Vancouver’s best indie designers, artisans and jewellers at the Biltmore Cabaret . It was a lot of fun with a photobooth and delicous food vendors outside. Can't wait for the next one!

Local-E was a 2 week Holiday pop-up shop in the heart of Gastown. They carried unique gifts made by local designers including MeiKu Designs! Over 15 amazing designers filled the shop ready for the Holiday shopping madness. It was a great experience that Meiku Designs was happy to be a part of.

The 2011 Harmony Arts Festival was an amazing and successful festival for Meiku Designs!!  Along West Vancouver’s Ambleside Park, the festival featured great local artists, musicians, performers, cuisine and wine. Over 60+ artists and artisans inluding yours truly were selling original creations and designs at the 4 day market.

MeiKu was happy to be a part of  Fab Fair Spring Bag and Bling show. It was the first sunny weekend and what a perfect day for shopping from local designers that are established, emerging or new.

Car Free Day is an annual city wide street party that celebrates local businesses, community and family all for free! This year on Main Street, Fab Fair decided to take part  in the fun. MeiKu designs was there as well as other talented artisans showcasing their amazing pieces.

Held bi-annually Fab Fair showcases designers that are established, emerging and new. The show selects a wide variety of local designers that have quality craftsmanship and unique design. MeiKu  Designs was there helping early bird holiday shoppers shorten their christmas list.

This was MeiKu Designs debut show and an awesome one at that! The Autumn Shift Festival on Main Street was a car-free oasis, street party celebrating the change in seasons as well as the shift in attitude towards sustainability, eating local and interest in urban gardening.
